DEDICATED PLATFORM

Beauty related content occupies a large majority if social activity inclusive of YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest. Despite the clear growth in beauty content, there are currently no social networking platforms exclusively dedicated to the sector. The gap in the market for such a platform is clearly evident.

Establishing a dedicated platform exclusively for the beauty sector opens the door to providing a more focused approach to the user experience, content creation, brands, advertising agencies, and culture. Digital content within the hair and beauty sector is experiencing phenomenal growth with many e-commerce platforms reporting a boom in sales, such as The Hut Group which recently grew to £5.6bn after floating on the stock market Sept 2020.

Funds raised for the beauty platform during the development phase will be used primarily as a catalyst to accelerate the build to achieve a more timely route to market. In addition, the funds would also be used to attract key influencers to the platform to drive traffic, raise brand awareness, increase users, and attract content providers. Funds generated at this stage will also provide a vital role in marketing the platform pre and post-launch across a multitude of media channels and networks.

EXIT STRATEGY
The beauty platform will be primed and prepared for a clear exit strategy, with a sale anticipated shortly after launch. Based on the recent sales of social media platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, and Twitch, the average acquisition price of a dedicated social media platform is $5.8 Billion.
